This violet wood chest of drawers opens with three identically sized, curved, pot-bellied drawers.
The drawer fronts are inlaid with violet-wood veneer elements arranged vertically, horizontally and diagonally in alternating geometric and symmetrical forms.
Each drawer is fitted with a lock and key, a large entrance with rocaille decoration and two large ormolu scroll handles.
The piece features a bronze acanthus leaf lamp base.
Each generously curved upright is adorned with a Louis XV scroll running seamlessly over an openwork sabot.
The moving sides are inlaid with geometric forms.
The Pyrenean red marble top follows the lines of the piece.
