Graceful Louis XVI style Half-Moon Commode Duo, designed at the end of the 19th century and mainly composed of Rosewood veneer.
On the Top rests a Pretty Original Carrara Marble, White, with a groove-cut rim.
The Front of these Furniture, embellished with Bronze, is Elegantly Rounded and opens with three Drawers, each separated by an apparent Traverse. The latter feature Beautiful Rosewood veneers, Deployed in four sheets. They stand out uniformly with frieze inlays interweaving fillets of amaranth and lemon tree and forming frames. It should be noted that this cabinet-making method is reproduced on the Small Collateral Doors. Each is equipped with a fixed shelf, thus separating their storage spaces. All these openings are provided with fittings such as: Pull Rings for the top one, four handles Fasteners for the Central and then Bronze Chiseled Entries with Insert Keys and Working Lock, for the Side Panels.
The Low Traverse of this Cabinet is modestly Cut, forming in the center a Drop, Adorned with a very Pretty Bronze.
The Ensemble is based on a quartet of Gaine feet, all ending in a Brass Sabot.
