Charming Port Commode in Yellow Mahogany from Saint Martin, made in the spirit of Nantes. It should be noted that there are very few Furniture which are made of this Essence of Wood, which is in great demand.
Its top, exceptionally composed of only two Wood Planks, has Molded and Cut Out edges on the front.
This Cabinet, with the front face cut as a retractable crossbow, opens with three large drawers of identical depths of 17 cm, all separated from each other by dust covers. The facade of these openings is Animated and Scalloped in their edges, thus harmoniously following the lines of the top. Each of these storage units is equipped with a working lock accompanied by its Iron Key, a pair of Bronze Pull Handles with Openwork Brass Plate, like the Ornate entrances. The interior of the compartments is in solid Mahogany.
The low crosspieces of this Commode are Beautifully Carved and sculpted with several Volutes in their length and in their center.
The sides of this Cabinet are Paneled, and see their High parts slightly Movement.
The uprights are molded in and end with small Snail feet at the front.
We will undoubtedly appreciate the Delicate and Elegant appearance of this Dresser also combining a Consistent storage capacity. She will delight her Owners with her Pretty Golden Shades of Blond Mahogany, which will perfectly match current interior styles.
