Gracious chest of drawers from the XVIIIth century, mainly made of Cormier and Yew wood, solid and veneered. This one is known for its density, its hardness and its homogeneity with a very Fine grain.
On its top rests a beautiful Original Marble, Griotte Red from the Pyrenees, veined with White. Its circumference with rounded lines is carved with a Corbin's Beak and a Throat.
The elegantly curved front of this piece of furniture opens with three drawers, each of them embellished with a central motif in a diamond shape surrounded by a Blond net. They also feature Yew Wood veneers, highlighted by Lemonwood inlays forming frames. These drawers offer an identical depth of 15 cm and are separated from each other by visible Chevron inlaid crosspieces. All are equipped with an entrance and a lock in working order, accompanied by their key, in Bronze. They are also provided with handles of Drawing spirit Rocaille, conceived in the same Alloy.
The low Traverse of this piece of furniture is modestly cut, forming a Tombant in the center, decorated with a Bronze.
The Sides are composed of a Rectangular panel in solid Yew Wood, called "Deployé" and a frame in Cormier.
The front Mounts of this Authentic Good are enriched with three Essences of Wood of which the Central part is a veneer of Thuya.
The whole rests on slightly rounded legs.
We will retain the Modest Dimensions of this Charming Functional Chest of Drawers, which will invite itself Naturally in a nicely arranged interior, and where the Quality of its Inlays will be noticed there.
