Louis XVI-style mahogany veneered flat desk with a mitered framed top, the edge of which is molded with brass baguettes. The center is darkened with green imitation leather surrounded by a gilded vignette depicting florets and scrolls.
The girdle features two wide drawers with chased bronze keys, a threaded entrance and a working lock.
The other three sides are shaped in the same spirit.
The corners are soberly carved and embellished with brass fluting.
The table rests on four brass-sheathed and fluted legs, ending in refined sabots.
