Dating from the very beginning of the 19th century, this small, mahogany, Directoire cylinder desk is a refined piece of furniture, resting on four sheathed legs. It has two drawers along the belt, three small drawers inside, and two more at the top. It is topped with a beautiful white marble top surrounded by a brass gallery.
The top is removable and folds under the cylinder when you want to keep it closed.
