It features a simple and refined front, adorned with flamed panels and geometric medallions centered by marquetry rosettes. The fluted sides, tapered legs, and carved decorations emphasize the piece’s classical elegance.
The sliding cylinder reveals a perfectly organized interior comprising four small drawers, three storage compartments, and a large writing surface covered in green leather. Its mechanism is smooth and functional. The lower section consists of three large drawers, each flanked by small side drawers on the front, offering ample storage capacity. The brass locks and keyholes are original, and the piece comes with its key.
The piece displays fine cabinetmaking quality, with a warm patina and wood featuring particularly decorative grain. There are a few minor restorations and slight signs of age, mainly on the back and certain interior parts, though these do not affect the piece’s sturdiness or aesthetic appeal.
