Very beautiful and large Murano glass pheasant using the Sommerso technique which consists of immersing the object being manufactured in successive baths of molten glass of different colors without mixing.
This is made of colorless and purple glass.
It is large, 30 cm in height.
It has no accident, crack or breakage.
On the other hand, it displays all the "flaws" that any true Murano artisanal piece can be proud of: asymmetry, crooked crest and very pronounced pontil mark.
The base is incredibly rich in gold glitter. We notice a huge one of about a centimeter at the base of the beak which completely illuminates it.
It is a superb object to place isolated on a small stand in the sun or to display beautifully in a lit display window.
