Hippolyte Ballue (1820-1867)
A student of Narcisse Diaz de la Pena (1807-1876), he exhibited his work at the Salon from 1842 to 1851.
He produced numerous watercolors depicting views of Paris, Sicily and North Africa. He was also particularly fond of depicting theatrical costumes, giving free rein to his creativity, particularly in color and line.
