Aquamarine Cocktail Ring on Rose Gold, 1950s

A 1950s ring in 18k rose gold (750/°°, eagle's head hallmark), set with a large 20-carat rectangular-cut aquamarine. This stone displays a particularly rich color, reminiscent of the finest aquamarines from the Santa Maria mine in Brazil. Its exceptionally well-executed cut and crystallization give it great vibrancy.

The substantial size of both the stone and the ring makes it a "cocktail" ring, and therefore particularly striking.

The setting, with its delicately crafted prongs, is followed by a twisted wire and a platform composed of alternating arches and spheres, creating an extraordinary relief around the stone.

The band itself is richly worked with an ethereal floral motif that continues around the entire band and incorporates a basket crafted from wires and arabesques.

The ring's substantial volume is curved to perfectly fit the finger, ensuring comfort and a perfect fit.
