A marquise-shaped ring in 18k rose and white gold (750/°°, eagle's head hallmark) in the Belle Époque style, early 20th century, set in its center with a superb mauve cabochon sapphire.

This stone is quite rare and unique, due to its color, on the one hand, and its asterism, on the other… the six-pointed star that appears in direct light (a beam of light or a ray of sunlight) is a particularly sought-after phenomenon. Natural, it originates from the stone's internal composition and is revealed by its cabochon cut.
Set according to the conventions of early 20th-century rings, this beautiful sapphire is enhanced by old-cut diamonds set in a finely openwork white gold setting. The band, in keeping with the aesthetics of the period, is made of rose gold.
Its overall flat profile, enhanced by the cabochon, makes it easy to incorporate into your everyday life. Similarly, the stones adorning it are not only precious but also exceptionally durable.

Condition: Imperceptible micro-scratches on the band, natural inclusions and characteristic areas in the sapphire imperceptible when worn, natural inclusions in the diamonds not visible to the naked eye. Please note: the polished cabochon cut of the sapphire creates a mirror effect; therefore, the white marks appearing on the surface of the stone are simply reflections of the concentric lights used during photography.

The chevron patterns that appear at certain angles are internal structural features that attest to the natural character of the stone and contribute to the asterism phenomenon.
