Pair of gilded and chased bronze Flambeaux Restoration 19th century
Materials: Cast, gilded and chased bronze, mounted on threaded rod.

Architecture of the Flambeau: it rests on a beautiful round base, richly molded and decorated with palmettes, interlacing, floral and fruit sprays, scrolls, ribbons, ovals and flat contours. The central shaft rises in the form of an antique column on a shower foot with a palmette and floral bud bulge at the bottom, a ridged column with a palmette ring, a capital with squared and molded decoration and a large floral and fruit wreath at the top. The top part for fire is set with a beautiful Round molded spigot on a piedouche with floral decoration and with its removable bobéche decorated with palmettes.
