    Pair of gilt bronze candlesticks finely decorated with polychrome champlevé enamel with floral and geometric motifs in shades of blue, turquoise, red, and black. Each piece features rich neo-Byzantine ornamentation, typical of high-quality works from the second half of the 19th century.

    Each candlestick rests on a circular base with enamel decoration and stands on four discreet feet. The central structure is finely turned, enhanced with enameled bulbs and crowned with an ornate socket. The base is signed: F. Barbedienne, Fondeur, an emblematic brand of Parisian excellence in art foundry.
