When the two grandsons died, it was Chrystiane Charles, Jean's wife, who took over the torch and artistic direction of Maison Charles; After that, she imagined a naturalist collection, composed of bronze plants transfigured into luminous sculptures, all signed and numbered. A work recognized by prestigious awards, such as the Lampe d’or. A prize awarded at the 1978 International Lighting Fair for the Water Leaf lamp. Then, in 1982, it was his son’s turn to take the reins of the family business.
