    SABRE à l'ORIENTAL
    European work of the 19th century
    Damascus and ivory blade
    Total length : 89 cm
    Blade length : 73 cm

    Saber with a curved spindle with ivory plates and a pommel with a scroll in the middle surrounded by a stylized flower. The blade is made of damascus steel, curved, with a flat back and an edge. It is decorated on trophies of arms, flowered bouquets and foliage.
    The guard has two inverted quillons ending in two acorns, the auricles are radiating.
    The steel scabbard ends in a rattlesnake tail and is equipped with two rings.
