Short Japanese sword, wakizashi in shirasaya, signed, with Koshirae
Japan, Edo period (1603-1868)
Koshirae length: 75cm;
Blade length: 63cm; Nagasa: 51cm; Sori: 1.9cm
Nakago: 12.4cm; Blade weight: 433g
Blade: slightly curved, with hamon temper line: notare. Signed on the Nakago Bizen Kuni Ju Osafune Kiyomitsu Saku
Silver habaki
Koshirae:
Wooden tsuka covered with ray skin, brown braid, trimmed with a pair of menuki en suite, with a golden flower bud on foliage motif. Shakudo fuchi-kashira, with a village motif and golden lanterns
Iron tsuba, Tate Maru Gata, with a samurai motif under a cherry tree.
Grained black lacquered wood scabbard (saya).
Horn kurigata, koiguchi, and kojiri.
Shakodu kozuka with missing decoration; steel kogatana.
