    Tsuba in shibuichi carved with two crows (karasu) – representing gratitude while serving as divine messengers and symbolizing divine guidance. Crows are often considered messengers of the gods, particularly in Shinto mythology, and their appearance is seen as an omen of guidance and protection; in shakudo with gold eyes.
    A shakudo tree with brass plum blossoms and gold buds is engraved on both sides.
