    Beautiful country atmosphere. Under a summer sky, near a house in the fields, a farmer leads his cows under the watchful eye of his dog.

    Painter born in Bordeaux, pupil of Gué, J.L. Brown and Cabanel.
    Exhibited hunting scenes, country scenes and a few genre scenes and still lifes at the Paris Salon, then at the Salon des Artistes Français and the Nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1869 to 1905. Medal winner at the 1889 and 1900 Paris Salons and World Fairs. Works in the Musée du Petit Palais, Paris
