This large mountain landscape evokes the grandeur and majesty of the high peaks, on the left is a path materialized by a wooden bridge spanning a stream, on the right some large fir trees or larches among the greenery of the foreground, then are the highest peaks in a mineral and snowy world under a sky where the blue illuminates the composition among the clouds that merge with the highest peaks. It is an oil on isorel panel from the 1930s or 1940s, it bears a signature on the lower right which we believe to be "Sablet", we have found nothing about this painter who nevertheless has a perfectly mastered technique equal to the best.
