    Signed lower right,

A beautiful, luminous work by the Toulon painter Paul Levéré, depicting a fisherman's terrace by the sea.

Paul Levéré was appointed a member of the Fine Arts Commission of the City of Toulon and later of the Theater Commission. He subsequently became a professor at the Toulon School of Fine Arts.
He participated in local exhibitions from 1910 onwards, presenting landscapes of the South of France.

In 1924, he was appointed an official painter of the French Navy.

He contributed to the art magazine "La Provence illustrée."

Dimensions: 33 x 46 cm unframed and 39 x 52 cm with its original wooden frame.
