    French school of the 18th century, portrait of an aristocratic lady circa 1760 - 1770. Oil on canvas in its Louis XVI style frame in wood gilded with gold leaf. End of the Louis XV period or very beginning of the Louis XVI period. The portrait, the work of a woman painter, bears a beautiful signature in full Melle Porcher, it is dated 1768.

    Our aristocrat wears a wig under a lace headdress with a pink ribbon bow, a beautiful white pleated dress finely embroidered with red flowers and decorated with lace. The woman is elegant and beautiful with beautiful blue eyes and a delicately outlined dimple. Beautiful portrait with elegant features, very well executed and large format.
