A delightful 19th-century oil painting on canvas depicting a set of containers featuring different materials: an earthenware plate, a glazed terracotta jar, a copper jam pan, a glass bell holding a cake and a wicker basket, all punctuated with summer fruits such as redcurrants and flat peaches, accompanied by their foliage, all laid out on the ground to create a well-balanced composition.
