Directoire period Brussels porcelain coffee service composed of 8 litron cups and their saucers. Late 18th century or early 19th century circa 1800. The model is shown on page 115 Faience et Porcelaine de Bruxelles by Jean Lemaire and attributed to the ornemaniste Charles van Marcke de Lummen.

Refined model hand-decorated with polychrome birds, each resting on a branch made of fine gold, the cups and saucers also highlighted with fine gold fillets. Each cup and saucer is unique.

They are in excellent condition. Drawings and gilding are very fresh. No damage. A few enamel cracks on some pieces - our cups are 220 years old.
