Large amphora-shaped ornamental vase from the Empire Restoration - early 19th century, 1820s.

Beautifully decorated with Italian "turning" landscapes: the landscape runs uninterrupted around the vase. Very fine bright gilding throughout. Quite a large model, very refined production, it can be used to complete a decoration on a piece of furniture or mantelpiece.

Our vase is in very good condition, with very fresh and remarkably well-preserved gilding. No damage except for 2 small restored chips at 2 corners below the base.

Height : 30cm
