Pair of ornamental vases in Paris porcelain. Swan handles. Empire and Restoration period - early 19th century, circa 1830.

Beautifully decorated in the Sèvres style, with Italian landscapes in a gilded frame on the front and 17th-century historialistic scenes on the back. Very fine matte and glossy gilding throughout the vase.

Quite a large, refined model, they can complete a trim on a piece of furniture or mantelpiece.

Our vases are in good condition, very freshly gilded and remarkably well preserved. One swan's beak is slightly missing. One foot repaired.
