Large 'Taverna' White Stoneware Pitcher by Sarreguemines, Early 20th Century
The iconic whiteness of Sarreguemines with a medieval tavern-themed design!
Created by the Sarreguemines ceramic workshops in the early 20th century, this white stoneware pitcher is an iconic piece with a medieval feel.
Its creamy white color makes it a timeless decorative object, even a collector's item. The beauty of its meticulous and detailed decoration, along with its functionality, makes it exceptional.
Perfectly functional, the pitcher does not leak. The mark on the bottom of the pitcher is due to a minor firing flaw; the glaze covering the white stoneware has sealed this imperfection, making the pitcher perfectly permeable.
Lovers of decorative French stoneware objects, suitable for both use and collection, don't wait any longer! Adopt this Sarreguemines pitcher now!
