"Bust of young Achilles".
Bronze proof with very fine shaded green patina.
Paris. Circa 1920.
Signed on the back Constant ROUX in cursive letters.

Pivoting 360° on its base.
Trapezoidal base forming a terrace in sea-green marble (corners worn).

Dimensions: Height 38cm. (28cm + Base 8cm)

Constant Roux (1865-1942): Sculptor, student of Cavelier and Barrias.
Mention of honor in 1892. Prix de Rome in 1894. Medal winner in 1898 and at the 1900 Paris Universal Exhibition. Medal of Honor in 1930 at the Salon des Artistes Français.
