Pierre Le Faguays (1892-1962) was a major French sculptor of the Art Deco style. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Geneva, he collaborated with publishers such as Max Le Verrier, Susse and Etling, and developed a style close to that of Demetre Chiparus.
He made his debut at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1922, where he received several awards. A prolific artist, he worked in a variety of materials (bronze, marble, ivory, etc.) and drew inspiration from Tanagra's figurines, often creating moving female figures based on live models.
He also signs his art fonts under the pseudonyms Guerbe and Fayral. Present at the 1925 Exposition des Arts Décoratifs and the 1937 Exposition Universelle, he ended his career as a painter in Montmartre.
