Beautiful dimension for this wooden Calvary where Christ, finely sculpted, is represented with the skull of Adam surmounted by a snake. Placed at the foot of the cross, this snake represents the victory of Christ over sin and death. By dying on the cross, Jesus would have conquered evil, symbolized by the snake. This iconography, unusual in the end, underlines the message of redemption and triumph over the forces of evil.
A well-detailed and very homogeneous polychrome work, resting on a terrace supported by four wooden balls.
