    Salon furniture, suite of 4 caned armchairs in beech richly carved with rocaille, shell and foliage motifs, snail scrolled legs, caned seats and back. They are covered with a Louis XV-style cushion upholstered in green silk (double-sided, so reversible). Parisian oak work from the late Regency or early Louis XV period (mid-18th century circa 1750).

    Beautiful model, fine proportions, bold and generous carving; unstamped, they are the work of a good master chair joiner, follower of Cresson.

    In excellent condition, the seats have been cleaned and rewaxed, the caning is in very good condition (2 seats have been refinished), and the silk is new.
