This Fauteuil de salon ou de bureau / bistrot THONET A 969 F produced between 1925 and 1937 is derived from the design and formats initiated by the Viennese Secession, this type of model reappearing in manufacturers' catalogs in the Art Deco period. Compact proportions, sober design, the seat legs are also the uprights on which rests a curved wooden girdle forming armrests and backrest, dressed here in simple leather under bronze spikes.
Very good condition, the leather and upholstery are recent.
The Thonet label is visible under the seat.
Natural beech stain under shellac
