    Series of 12 animal knife holders in silver metal created by E. M SANDOZ for Gallia (Christofle).
    Édouard Marcel Sandoz, Swiss sculptor and painter (1881 - 1971) is the son of Édouard Sandoz, founder of the pharmaceutical laboratory of the same name.
    The twelve animals are:
    the peacock, the swan, the dove, the bear, the lion, the pelican, the hare, the greyhound, the pig, the lying dog,  the lying cat and the fish (sturgeon).
    Each piece is coated with the O. Gallia signature. All are in very good condition with some minor scratches from use.
    Quite rare Art Deco complete series which will brighten up your table and liven up the conversation. (sold without box).
