Suite of 4 solid silver salt shakers by Puiforcat.

Dating from the late 19th century, their Louis XVI-style decoration of beliers' heads, garlands, laurel friezes and acanthus leaves, is very meticulous, as can be expected of prestigious silversmiths, particularly at the end of this century when silversmithing techniques, more advanced than in the 18th century, were able to surpass the quality and finesse of the "original" models of the previous century. The interior is in vermeil (coated with a layer of fine gold).

We have sold several models of Puiforcat salt shakers, and these are of the highest quality: the bottom is silver, not just the sides. The weight of silver is 1.5 times greater than usual.

The salt shakers are matched with Baccarat crystal verrines and Christofle silver-plated spoons.

Each saleron bears the Minerve 1er titre hallmark (silver alloy .950 / 1000) and the hallmark of one of France's most prestigious silversmiths, Emile Puiforcat.

They are in excellent condition; no accidents; the vermeil is fresh. No accidents, no shocks.
