A pocket watch dating from 1890-1910 with a unique display system. It features an enamel dial decorated with flowers, with three apertures in the center: one for the hour (hence the term "jumping hour"), and two others below for the minutes. A small subdial at 6 o'clock displays the seconds.
This watch comes from a private collection and was serviced by its previous owner. It is in excellent working order, although the minutes do not update when the seconds hand reaches 60 seconds, but rather when it reaches approximately 25 seconds.
The case is made of steel, and the bail appears to be gold (hallmarked). It measures 55mm in diameter and 18mm in depth.
