Charming little Chinese watercolor (mid 19th century) of two birds in a tree among the flowers. The paint is in good condition with beautiful colors and an old wooden frame (maybe with a little restoration on the right) which enhances it nicely. Please take a good look at the photos: you can see some stains and also that the right edge of the painting is torn. Rips in rice paper are common because it is brittle and in this case it does not affect the quality of the paint. However, it's always possible that this work was part of something bigger.

The dimensions are approximately 29.5 cm x 24.5 cm (visible surface 21 cm x 16.2 cm); 560 g.
