Although unsigned, this elegant vase is probably from the Belgian crystal works Val Saint Lambert around 1920. Its metallic decoration was achieved by a technique called electroplating which was used by Léon Ledru, artistic director at Val Saint Lambert from 1896 until his death in 1926. It is the copper metallization on blue glass which gives this vase its very beautiful vermiculated decor with stylized flowers and geometric patterns.

The vase is in good general condition, there are only traces of oxidation, traces of varnish and small gaps and lines which were probably a result of the manufacture, but please note that inside, it there is a slight crack on the mouth of the vase. Please take a good look at the photos for examples of what I'm talking about and if you have any questions, contact me.

The approximate height: 29, 5 cms; the weight ca. 965 g.

Delivery: Delivery costs only apply to mainland France. Please contact me (I speak English, French and German) for a quote if you live elsewhere.
