A charming pair of porcelain bohemian style figurines in matte biscuit, probably made during the Art Nouveau period. Each piece represents a child with a sweetmeat or possibly a posy bowl. There are remnants of marks and numbers on the base, but they are too inconclusive for me to say with certainty what they are.
The condition is relatively good, the applique flowers have suffered some losses and the girl has lost a finger. I have tried to capture all this in the photos, so please have a good look and get in touch if you have questions or would like more pictures.
The following dimensions will give you an idea of the approximate sizes: 20 cms (h), the bowls are 9 cm in diameter; the girl weighs 582 g and the boy 595 g.
