Complete 1932 issue of the journal Cahiers d'Art, edited by Christian Zervos (Éditions « Cahiers d'Art », 14 rue du Dragon, Paris VIe). It comprises the four double or triple issues of the year, which together contain the 10 issues: 1-2, 3-5, 6-7, and 8-10. The spines are inscribed "Cahiers d'Art, No. 3-5, 1932".

Art journal: painting, sculpture, architecture, ancient art, ethnography, cinema. Contents announced on the covers:
No. 1-2: "Spiritual Life or Practical Activity" by Christian Zervos; survey on spiritual values by H. Serouya; Georges Braque and the development of Cubism; exhibition of French art in London by J.-J. Sweeney; Siberian sculptures by A. Salmony; Henri Laurens by P. Guéguen; the Dada spirit in painting by G. Hugnet; illustrations by Georges Rouault; problems of architecture by S. Giedion.
Nos. 3-5: issue devoted to the Picasso exhibitions at the Galeries Georges Petit (1932 retrospective) and in Benin: bronzes and ivories at the Ethnographic Museum.

Nos. 6-7: André Masson by Christian Zervos; Irish primitive art by J. J. Paperback covers in solid colors (orange, turquoise, purple) with the issue number on a white label. The issues also contain advertisements from galleries of the time (Galerie Percier, Alex. Reid & Lefevre, etc.). Sale price in 1932: 30 francs for nos. 1-2 and 6-7, 60 francs for nos. 3-5 and 8-10.

Complete year, in used condition.
Issues 1-2 and 6-7: Clean covers with vibrant colors, slight foxing on the edge of the cover of issue 6-7, spine slightly cracked.
Issues 3-5 and 8-10: Interior detached from the cover. The text block is separating from the cover at the spine. The pages are complete, but the signatures should be handled with care or restored.
Foxing and stains on the endpapers and advertising pages of some issues.
Spines browned, with small paper losses. Shipping: Carefully packaged, in rigid protective sleeve, and tracked.
