Beautiful writing desk in Rio rosewood veneer presenting on its top and front a rosewood frame highlighted by a lemon tree net. A cut-out brass plate is inlaid on the top and also on the front, acting as a keyhole. This is in perfect working order.
Once opened, the box unfolds forming a sloping writing desk covered with royal blue leather. It is decorated with a central motif of lilies and large golden vignettes around its rim.
Equipped with tabs at the top and bottom, these allow the opening of two storage compartments. The lower one closes with two small brass pushers and has ropes attached with small nails to store letters or papers.
The upper part of this box has small rectangular compartments allowing the transport of pencils and various objects.
With its precious woods and quality workmanship, this refined travel writing desk in perfect condition will suit lovers of unique and elegant objects.
