Arvers is the signature of the company Art et Verrerie
Because of the competition with Daum, but especially of the great crisis, the factory is the subject of a friendly liquidation in the thirties6. Subsequently, André Delatte, after the closure of his factory in Nancy in 1938, created the company "Art et Verrerie" in Rive-de-Gier, a major glassmaking center. However, this new company name, Art et Verrerie, was not successful and the Delatte establishments were closed down for good1
