This silk fan is 16 strands, it presents on one side, three reserves, painted with gouache. The largest, in the center, is a genre scene where we see a gallant offer a lady a bird in a cage, on either side, a smaller cartouche inside which we can see a on one side a young man and on the other a young girl. The whole is placed in a rich vegetal decoration of multicolored flowers, embroidered with fine chains. The ivory strands are adorned with a chiselled decoration inlaid with silver.
