Magnificent and very original, and curious Large inkwell with double pen tray in Sea Green Marble richly molded and scrolled and chased and gilded bronzes, in the central part poses a beautiful subject sculpture with the peddler of Materials Gothic style in period clothes crouching with a large chair to carry with Cathedral decoration and lanniéres in tension forming door Letters and Couriers also being able to pose its portable for the modern side, and with two superb period ink cups decorated with openwork ovals and a twisted molding at the base and with a removable lid in the shape of a gadrooned hat arranged in lateral positions, resting on four attractive rounded feet in gilded bronzes.

Very fine workmanship, unsigned, two-tone matte and glossy Mercury gilding. Nice chasing, traces of use and age, no accidents, micro chips. Glass lining inside.
