    Late 18th century quest dish.
    German work, probably from the Nuremberg region.
    Embossed, engraved and hallmarked brass, with a medallion in the center depicting the Resurrection lamb, the Christ symbol par excellence in Christian religious art.
    The lamb, nimbed, carries a bannered cross, a common motif in medieval and Renaissance Christian iconography.
    34 cm in diameter
    Good condition. Note a small perforation on the lower frieze.
