Glazed porcelain plaque depicting Christ with the crown of thorns, signed L. Crelerot

Created by the ceramicist and enameler Lucien Crèlerot in the early 20th century during the Art Deco period (1910–1939), this framed ceramic plaque depicts Christ.

Jesus Christ is depicted wearing the crown of thorns, with an expression of suffering on his face as he gazes toward the sky.

The high-quality glazing typical of the period and the geometric lines of Art Deco are clearly evident. The hanging hook on the back allows this religious artwork to be mounted on the wall, making it ideal for a lover of French religious art.

Fast and careful shipping to France, Europe, and worldwide.
