    An oval painted enamel plaque, most likely from Limoges, depicting Saint John the Baptist accompanied by the Lamb of God, illuminated by the Holy Spirit, seated in a bucolic rural landscape with a small stream at his feet,  set in a (later) ebonite frame, dating from the 18th century.
    This plaque is in good overall condition and of fine quality.
    Please note: a few scratches/cracks on the enamel, and very minor imperfections on the frame; see photos.
