Louis XV Style Sideboard – Solid Oak & Marquetry – 18th Century

Large Louis XV style sideboard in solid oak and veneer wood.

It has four drawers in the upper part decorated with geometric marquetry nets and double molded brass handles decorated with shells. The four hinged doors have molded panels with an eight-pointed star inlaid in contrasting wood, framed with engraved fillets. The intermediate belt is treated with checkerboard marquetry of alternating light and dark woods. The lower apron is carved with rocaille and acanthus motifs, resting on arched legs characteristic of the period. The interior reveals one shelf per compartment in secondary wood (fir) with a pull-out compartment on the right. Old patina with traces of wear and blackening consistent with French regional production from the 18th century (Normandy or Northern France). Delivered without key; manufacturing of keys possible on request. Stripping, varnishing and restorations can be carried out by our workshops on request. Dimensions: H 115 cm – L 225 cm – Weight 120 kg.
