Large blond mahogany and mahogany veneer dining table, antique Louis XVI work, early 19th century.
Beautiful, high-quality model with spindle legs. The legs and top are in solid mahogany, not veneer, and the runner carriage is in oak, all evidence of an early manufacture, late 18th or early 19th century, and a guarantee of quality for a table.
Round when closed, the folding leaves allow it to be stored against a wall.
When fully opened, it extends to almost 3.2m and can seat 10 or 12 people. Our table is supplied with 1 solid mahogany extension leaf, the others simply available to order from our cabinetmaker.
Our table is in good home condition. The buffer varnish has been brightened up by our cabinetmaker, and is a blond mahogany color, slightly insolated, evenly distributed over the 4 corners. There are still a few micro-scratches, but the whole remains very beautiful and impressive in its quality. No damage or missing parts.
Our table is a little smaller than a standard table, which makes it particularly suitable for use in apartments. It's not too wide, but can still seat 10 or 12 people when fully opened.
