Beautiful 19th-century Empire style bookcase in solid wood, with lion pasta front legs, the side jambs adorned with two gilded sphynge heads. One drawer at the top cornice, white marble top.
Manufactured in the 19th century
The interior features 5 height-adjustable shelves covered in yellow velvet. The mirrors on the two leaves are beveled. The cabinet locks.
Dimensions including marble: 174cm high, 48cm deep, 114cm wide.
Minor imperfections: a crack on the left-hand side at the bottom, and small missing pieces on the cornice moulding, which are not noticeable once the marble is in place.
To be picked up in Lansargues (30mn from Montpellier), I can deliver all distances at cost price.
