Inspired by the work of ornamentalist Juste-Aurèl Meissonnier (1695-1750), this pair of candelabra features a beautiful twisting of its shaft, the whole has a beautiful vitality, the forms are energetic, the rocaille ornamentation completely covers the forms, the arms supporting the 4 lights have beautiful curves, they are drawn in the form of twisted branches dressed with long acanthus leaves, the vases are also well worked with chased foliage.
These candelabras are in good condition, unrestored, never electrically mounted, period gilding with wear.
