    This large lamp consists of a Delftware vase. The rich decoration, in the Chinese style, in blue on a white background, is made of arabesques of palmettes and stylized flowers, geometric motifs. The vase alone measures 65 cm, the whole with the lampshade 100 cm, and the base is 27 cm wide. It was electrified some time ago, and the electric wire, although in good condition, deserves to be replaced; the silk covering the plastic wire is worn. A chip in the enamel is noted on the belly. We are presenting it with the lampshade it had when we acquired it, but it is no longer impeccable. On the back, it bears the manufacturer's mark "Les deux sauvages," which belonged to Mattheus Van De Boogaert from 1750 to 1765.
